Greetings,
As you are well aware of the plight in Haiti, the Eagle's Nest Foundation has been able to respond right away to the disaster.
On Jan 14th, we sent a 40 ft container of medical supplies to Dominican Republic. This container was already scheduled to go even before the earth quake. The timing on sending this container was amazing. The supplies will be transported to help the Haitians as the Dominican Republic is a bordering country on the same island.
This coming week we are sending 20,000 lbs of medical supplies that will be air lifted to a temporary hospital set up right outside of Port-au-Prince. Four Canadian doctors will be accompanying this cargo.
We are also working on sending another 40 ft container of medical supplies, medical equipments, mattresses, clothes, bicycles, baby diapers and other products to YWAM in Haiti. We would appreciate if you can sponsor the next container of relief aid as we plan to continue our support in the coming months.
It costs $6,500 to send a 40 ft container.
Please note the news letter sent from the YWAM base in Haiti. (http://www.ywamhaiti.org/NewsCenter/2010EarthquakeUpdates/tabid/2326/Default.aspx)
Thank you for your support and prayers.
Blessings,
Dayoung Kimn
