Dear ones, 

Ida and I are up this morning looking out the window over a smallsuburb of Porto Alegre; very southern end of Brazil. Quiet with little traffic this Saturday morning. Difficult to get our heads around the fact we are in this nation for the first time. We have been extremely bless by the Lord in our accommodations; fifth floor of a condo in downtown. We have our own bedroom and the Kyltras' are in the bedroom next door.

We landed here on Thursday afternoon and just walked around yesterday to view the city. We were try to catch on sleep from the 36 hours of being awake. Last night Walter went to the top of a mountain at the edge of the city with five men from the church and were able to see the whole town and prayed for the Lord to reveal what He was about to do here. [this was from ten to midnight[ Of course, Walter was speaking in American and they in Portuguese; but when all were singing in Tongues it was better to understand. The language here sounds like Germans speaking Spanish with some Italian mixed in. Walter keeps trying Spanish words and half somewhat work but most still need some other tweak in the p

Today we start some ministry and some more looking around the region. Tomorrow Sunday the church service is at 6pm. The church we will be ministering out of has a body of 500 and is eleven years old. They are a PIH [partner in harvest] church and will sponcer a conference for all the associated churches in the nation plus some from Uraguay. The agenda has us doing a lot of personal minisitry with leadership; mainly Issue Focus. With some we will have a translator. We will get to minister in their school of ministry during the week.

One of the scriptures that we read yesterday while praying for the city became real last night in one of the attached pictures.
Zechariah 2: 4,5 in the Message Just then the Messenger-Angel on his way out met another angel coming in and said,
"Run! Tell the Surveyor, 'God's city will burst its'walls— bursting with people, bursting with animals.
And I'll be right there with her'—God's Decree—'a wall of fire around the unwalledCity of Godand a radiant presence within.'" [in the KJV it read God's Glory will be in the midst]

We would ask you to pray about what His presence wants to do here in the city over the next two and half weeks with us. Or what He plans for the future. Please step out of the box and give us what you hear, see, feel.
